You know the names of the generals, but do you know the names of the heroes who fought for a freedom they didn't always share?
Join us for an eye-opening journey to meet the patriots of color who were essential to the birth of America. From the docks of Boston, where a free sailor became the Revolution's first martyr, to the shadows of the British camps, where an enslaved man served as Lafayette's most trusted spy - these stories will change everything you thought you knew about 1776. This is a fully interactive session where your questions help us bring these hidden legacies to light.
This is a special PGS 250 presentation commemorating, The Unsung Revolution. This will be an in-person only presentation held in in Jenkins Room C. This presentation is being presented by Lori Coffey, President of the Pinellas Genealogy Society and Regent of Caladesi Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
