Income Tax Assistance

Assistance is on a first come, first served basis. Sign up opens each scheduled day at 9:30am. Individuals must sign in with an AARP volunteer. Unofficial sign-in sheets will not be honored.

Please note AARP Tax-Aide does not prepare: 

• State returns or federal returns that contain rental property or cryptocurrency transactions.
• Some Form K-1 and complex Schedule C for self-employment. 
• Casualty loss due to either 2024 hurricane, but they may be able to advise you if it appears worthwhile to include it on your return.

Items to bring with you: 

• Your picture ID and Social Security cards or Form SSA-1099 for all persons on your return. A copy of your 2023 return prepared by Tax-Aide may suffice.
• Any forms or other evidence showing your income and potentially deductible expenses for the year.
• Your account's routing number and account number if you want direct deposit of a refund or direct debit of an amount owed.
• If you received a Personal Identity Protection Pin number (IP PIN) it must be included, or your return will be rejected.
• If you purchased health insurance through the Health Care Marketplace, you must file and you must have Form 1095-A.
